About Gwenda
Gwenda Bryan has been part of the 成人直播 Library team since completing her MLIS at the University of Ontario in 2012. Her library career has taken her to some interesting places 鈥 from the children鈥檚 department of a busy public library, to a government library downtown Vancouver, to a remote marine research station on the west coast. In her current role as Systems and Discovery Librarian, Gwenda combines a strong background in library systems and technology with a passion for facilitating learning.
Gwenda keeps her own professional knowledge and practice up to date by participating in conferences and workshops focusing on technical writing, project management, and instructional skills. Her research interests include user experience design, artificial intelligence, and open education resources.
When she鈥檚 not wrestling with complex technological challenges, Gwenda can be found exploring the land and waters around Victoria by canoe, kayak, bike, or on foot.
